Governor John Bel Edwards says there is no timeline in place to implement new work requirements for Medicaid recipients in Louisiana.
According to the governor, the Department of Health is continuing to study the concept.
Health department officials say they want to implement a system similar the one found in Montana, where Medicaid recipients are connected with job training opportunities and education programs to secure employment.
