Louisiana Lottery officials say a retired Lafayette couple and their two adult children are the state's newest millionaires.
The agency says a Lake Charles tax attorney claimed the March 24th Powerball jackpot prize for his client, The Moose Family Trust, on Tuesday.
In Thursday's announcement, lottery officials say the ticket holders chose the lump sum payment of more than $33 million, which shrunk to $23 million after state and federal taxes were withheld.
