NBA Playoffs: Pelicans Hold Off Trail Blazers 97-95

Anthony Davis poured in 35 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Pelicans opened the playoffs with a 97-95 win over the Trail Blazers in Portland.

Rajon Rondo dished out 17 assists for New Orleans, which held off a late fourth-quarter run by the Blazers to steal Game One on the road. Jrue Holiday chipped in with 21 points and made some key defensive stops down the stretch to seal the win for the Pels.

C.J. McCollum led the way for Portland with 19 points and Damian Lillard added 18.

The Blazers host the Pelicans in Game Two on Tuesday.
