Gas prices are continuing to climb in Louisiana, except in Baton Rouge where they are holding mostly steady.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular has hit $2.47 a gallon, up three cents from last Monday. Over the past month, the price of the fuel has gone up just over 15 cents.
Compared to this time last year, drivers are forking over a quarter more for a gallon of regular in the Pelican State.
