Hannity Plays Down Cohen Flap

Sean Hannity

Nothing to see here.

That's how Fox News host Sean Hannity is reacting to a growing controversy over his relationship with Michael Cohen, President Trump's longtime personal attorney.

On his syndicated radio show today, Hannity said he has never retained the services of Cohen. Hannity was identified as one of Cohen's clients during a New York court hearing.

Hannity said he has been friends with Cohen for many years and occasionally seeks legal advice. He called it informal and insisted that he has never received a bill or an invoice from Cohen.

Hannity is one of President Trump's most aggressive defenders and he publicly slammed the recent raid of Cohen's office, home and hotel room.

Federal agents gathered numerous records, including those related to hush money that was paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Trump has denied having an affair with Daniels in 2006.
