A Slidell resident is now reunited with a ticket stolen from him earlier this week to the only perfect game thrown during any World Series.
That was the October 8, 1956 contest when the Yankees Don Larsen pitched a perfect game to help defeat the Brooklyn Dodgers.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says the ticket's owner had befriended a homeless man that he showed it to, and who allegedly stole it the next morning.
20-year-old Jeffery Garmon is charged with felony theft, given the ticket is valued at upwards of $6,000.
