Secretary of State Tom Schedler, who is being sued for sexual harassment by an employee, says the state should have a consistent policy regarding sexual harassment in government agencies.
He made the remarks during a Senate committee hearing yesterday on his office's day-to-day operations.
There's been talk of letting each agency draw up its own harassment policy. A bill on the matter is expected to reach the Senate floor soon.
