It may or may not happen, but state lawmakers are at least interested in the possibility of scrapping Daylight Saving Time in Louisiana or keeping it year round.
The House Commerce Committee approved a proposal Tuesday to form a task force to study the annual turning back of the clocks an hour in the fall and turning them forward an hour in the spring.
Representative Mark Wright says the impacts of changing the time ought to be studied given talk about the possible mental impact of doing so.
