Two Louisiana lawmakers are hugging it out after getting in a fistfight at a bar.
The brawl between State Rep. Stuart Bishop and Senator Norby Chabert evidently broke out over a disputed bill in the legislature.
Bishop claimed while they were at the River Room on Laurel Street, Chabert punched him several times, but he chose not to retaliate. Chabert said he regrets his actions because of how close he is with Bishop.
No arrests were made, and Bishop apologized on the House floor this morning for upsetting his colleagues.
