While Entergy is denying direct culpability in the hiring of actors to attend earlier hearings on a new power plant, members of the New Orleans City Council continue to investigate the matter.
The panel has fired off a letter to the head of the utility ordering the preservation of any evidence related to the allegations.
A public relations group was asked by Entergy New Orleans to gather supporters for the power plant project, but says it was unaware that Hawthorn Group contracted with Crowds on Demand to pay professional actors to show up at the meetings.
