Law enforcement in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish are working separate shootings that left at least one person dead and three others injured.
Authorities say a man was wounded in unincorporated Gretna around 8:30 last night on Bannerwood Drive. About two hours earlier, a man was found shot to death in an overgrown lot on Warfield in New Orleans East, while another was wounded earlier near Eunice and Hammond streets.
And, it was around eleven last night that a man was shot in the area of the Family Dollar store on General DeGaulle Drive.
