The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office says a man who carried out a deadly double shooting on West 223rd Street over the weekend is dead.
Investigators say 46-year-old Shane Billiot opened fire on two women he was upset with Saturday as they fled in a truck.
29-year-old Michelle Stone died of her injuries yesterday. The other woman was last reported in stable condition at University Medical Center.
Billiot fatally shot himself after deputies arrived on the scene.
