The St. John The Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office says a $5,000 reward is being offered for information in a double shooting that the lives of a 4-year-old girl and her father Tuesday night.
Officials have identified the victims as 29-year-old Cameron Mack and his daughter, Cali.
The two were shot near their apartment on Joe Parquet Circle and Sheriff Mike Tregre believes Mack was targeted by the gunman, who opened fire while Mack was carrying his daughter and groceries.
The motive is unknown at this time and Tregre calls the shooting senseless. "I just hope and pray that God will lead us to this suspect," he added.
