Louisiana-Based Televangelist Seeks Donations For New Jet

Louisiana-based televangelist Jesse Duplantis is seeking donations from his flock to pay for a new jet that has a more than $50 million price tag.

The Advocate reports the New Orleans native operates a Christian ministry headquartered in Destrehan and says if Jesus were alive today "he wouldn't be riding a donkey."

Duplantis says he needs a Dassault Falcon 7X so he can go on longer trips and save money on fuel to spread the gospel worldwide.
