Whether you have a license or not, you'll be able to cast a line into the Louisiana's waterways for a free weekend of fishing this Saturday and Sunday only.
State wildlife officials say its an effort to promote fishing and to remind people they need to renew their licenses by July 1st.
And, while the fishing may be free and no license required, size and catch limits will still be enforced this weekend.
