Police are asking the public for help to identify and find a man who stole an SUV while wearing a hospital gown.
Officials say the car was stole on June 5th from a gas station on Esplanade Avenue in the Treme neighborhood. The owner of the vehicle had parked next to the pump and left the engine running.
Surveillance video shows the man run across the street to the gas station in yellow socks and a hospital gown and hop in the SUV before driving away. Details with the make, model and license plate of the vehicle have not been released.
Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
