St. Tammany Parish President Seeks Post-Deadly Crash I-12 Funding

St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister clearly isn't satisfied with the response to her pleas for funding to fix a dangerous stretch of I-12 in the Covington area where four people were killed and nearly a dozen injured in a pileup earlier this month.

She fired off a letter yesterday to U.S. Senator John Kennedy noting her willingness to testify before the Senate Appropriations Committee in her quest for $74 million in funding to widen the nearly five-mile stretch of highway.
