New Orleans jazz trumpeter Irvin Mayfield and his business partner are in deeper legal trouble with the feds.
A superseding indictment adds four counts of wire fraud and money laundering to the original 19-count indictment returned late last year against the Grammy-award winning musician and Ronald Markham.
Prosecutors allege that Mayfield steered more than $1 million from the New Orleans Public Library Foundation to the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.
