Gas prices across Louisiana remain at a four-year high but they are coming down.
With the July 4th holiday travel period just days away, the average price of regular in the state has fallen below $2.57 a gallon, or a dime lower than a month ago. AAA says the current average price is 50 cents higher compared to this time last year.
Folks who need diesel to fuel their vehicles are paying $2.92 on average, or about 65 cents more than a year ago.
