The records and papers of former Governor Kathleen Blanco will be the subject of research by a public policy center being created by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
School officials announced Wednesday that plans for the center bearing Blanco's name are being finalized.
The examination of her public policy issues will cover her entire political career ranging from that of public service commissioner, her legislative work and while she was governor.
