A new HIV/AIDS clinic is open in downtown New Orleans to provide infected residents with necessary services.
The clinic, which is located in the historic Pythian Building, is hoping to reduce the number of people being infected with the virus in the area. Officials will provide services to all patients, including the LGBT and transgender communities, regardless of insurance.
Health officials say the Crescent City has one of the highest rates of HIV in the nation.
