Tens of thousands of visitors will be departing the Big Easy today after the conclusion of this year's Essence Fest last night that ended on a very high note with a concert from singing icon Janet Jackson at the Superdome.
Other big names took part in what's become known as the "party with a purpose" that Mayor LaToya Cantrell says likely had a $250 million impact on the city during its four-day run.
