The case against a Metairie man arrested in the May 5th shooting death of Big Lee Martin is advancing as a Jefferson Parish grand jury indicted Wayne Higgins Thursday on a charge of second-degree murder.
The two Bonnabel Boulevard neighbors got into an argument that turned physical when Martin sprayed water from a hose into Higgins vehicle and his face.
That's when the 78-year-old allegedly got out and fatally shot Martin.
