The driver of a Mercedes SUV is injured after the vehicle plunged off the fourth floor of a parking garage in downtown New Orleans.
The incident happened early Sunday afternoon near the corner of Girod and O'Keefe streets.
Police say the vehicle, for unknown reasons, crashed through a concrete barrier and then hit the ground seconds later seriously damaging it. Passersby came to the victim's assistance, turning the vehicle upright after it landed on its roof.
