Funds from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill settlement will be funding 23 coastal restoration projects in Louisiana, Governor John Bel Edwards announced Tuesday.
The work will take place in nine parishes, including Jefferson and St. Tammany.
Edwards said the $60 million will cover the entire cost of designing, engineering and construction of the various projects.
