High Temps Returning To Louisiana

The cooling rains that parts of Louisiana received earlier this week will be giving away to another round of potentially deadly heat.

Temperatures are expected to soar into the 90s this weekend with the heat index hitting 110 or possibly higher in some locations.

Governor Edwards warned earlier about the risk posed by the high temps. He says children should not be left unattended in a hot car, a tragic mistake that, on average, claims 36 lives each year.
