Jefferson Parish Officials Seek Source Of Foul Odors

Jefferson Parish officials are putting off talking about the obnoxious odors coming from landfill areas.

Officials postponed one meeting and now say they will address the issues publicly on Monday morning in Gretna.

Residents in River Edge, Harahan and Waggaman are upset with the foul smell from landfills.

The parish hopes to have Louisiana environmental quality and health officials on hand to address concerns and complaints.
