Summer Months Deadliest For Teen Drivers

Families with teen drivers are in the middle of one of the deadliest times of the year on Louisiana roads.

The 100 deadliest days for teen drivers come between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The CDC says in 2015, 2,300 teens in the U.S. ages 16 to 19 were killed in crashes and over 235,000 were treated in emergency rooms.

Louisiana first responders urge parents to talk to their teens about distracted driving and then set limits, like a curfew, on teen drivers.
