Gov. John Bel Edwards and State Attorney General Jeff Landry continue to spar over the issue of the death penalty.
Landry sent a letter to the Governor Tuesday asking Edwards where he stands on the issue.
Landry says the governor seems disinterested in providing death penalty options in order to move the process forward. The governor says state law is standing in the way of the state resuming executions, which have been on hold in Louisiana since 2010.
