Driver's License Policy Change Approved In New Orleans

The New Orleans City Council is giving the thumbs-up to a change in policy that's likely to result in fewer drivers being arrested

The panel gave its okay to scrapping the required arrests of people driving on a suspended license or not having their license with them.

The policy change was proposed by Councilwoman Helena Moreno, but it's uncertain when it will actually take effect.
