No More Louisiana State Sales Tax Holidays

If you're holding out buying some things until the next state sales tax holiday in Louisiana, it'll apparently be years before there's another one.

That's because state lawmakers accidentally ended the scheduled tax breaks for at least seven years in drawing up the new fiscal year budget. They won't be coming back until 2025, if then.

The Annual Louisiana Sales Tax Holiday was to take place this Friday and Saturday followed by the Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday in September.

Local sales tax exemptions offered during those holidays are not impacted.
