The New Orleans Sewage & Water Board is not backing off on its plan to begin turning the spigot off to delinquent bill payers starting tomorrow.
The agency issued a news release saying to put off collections any longer will put it at "great financial risk." The board will be trying to collect on nearly $22 million in lost revenue.
The cut off of services will not apply to those whose bills are in dispute.
