No word of an arrest yet in what Slidell police say is the city's first murder of the year.
The body of 65-year-old Dianne Bercy was discovered Monday during a welfare check by officers. She had been stabbed multiple times at her Paige Court residence.
A niece who lived with her was named a person of interest, but thus far Kenya Despenza has only been charged with stealing Bercy's car.
