An autopsy confirms the identities of two people whose bodies were found burning late last month in Algiers and their cause of death.
The Orleans Parish coroner says the victims, 18-year-old Shantrell Parker and 20-year-old Gavonte Lampkin, were shot before their bodies were burned. The couple had two children.
Police are still investigating the motive for the killings and working to determine who killed the couple.
