Universities across the state with dorms to fill are seeing students move in ahead of a new academic year.
Sunday was the official "move-in day" for most of them. And, it was the first time such a thing happened at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans.
That's because in its previous 102-year history, the university never had a residence hall but does now with the construction of a $14 million dorm that can house 135 students.
