More issues off the field are continuing to impact players on the LSU football team.
Center Ed Ingram was arrested in Texas by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office earlier this month over sexual assault allegations just before the preseason training camp started. The arrest stemmed from an event that took place just before Ingram started his first semester at LSU in August 2017.
Officials say both Ingram and the victim were both minors when the alleged assault took place, but have not released the age of the victim.
His arrest coincided with Coach Ed Orgeron's announcement that Ingram would be suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.
