An LSU fraternity chapter is serving an interim suspension for potential violation of the university's code of conduct.
School spokesman Ernie Ballard says the president of Delta Chi was notified of the action by letter Monday.
He says the incident being investigated allegedly occurred during the week of August 19th, but at this point says there's no indication of hazing.
Tougher anti-hazing legislation went into effect earlier this year in Louisiana after the alcohol-poisoning death of LSU freshman Max Gruver of Georgia last September from a hazing linked to the Phi Delta fraternity.
