Officials with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette are clarifying what some students discovered was the publisher-posted price of $999 for an online Accounting 202 textbook.
That hefty sum was obviously a shocker, but school officials say it's all a misunderstanding and that the purchase price through the ULL bookstore is $312, less than one third the amount folks were fuming about on social media during the weekend.
