Two New Orleans cops are in trouble after they separately crashed their unmarked police units while off duty and allegedly driving drunk Sunday.
Officials say 33-year-old Officer Brandon Scruggs ran a red light and hit and injured a motorcyclist, while the other officer, 32-year-old Tonishia Goodwin, crashed her police car into another vehicle, but no one was injured.
Both were assigned to the child abuse unit of the NOPD's special victim's section and both have been placed on emergency suspension pending further investigation.
