A former star of the History Channel's long-running reality series "Swamp People" is dead following a one-vehicle crash in Iberville Parish.
State police say 35-year-old Randy Edwards' Chevy Silverado veered off LA-75 early Saturday morning after failing to negotiate a curve, hit a utility pole, overturned and Edwards was ejected.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and troopers suspect impairment was a factor in the crash.
Edwards and other members of his family were featured in the first six seasons of "Swamp People."
