The opening date for the new terminal at Louis Armstrong International is delayed again.

The Advocate reports that airport officials heard from a consultant at Thursday's Aviation Board meeting that the opening would be postponed to May after an issue arose with a sewer line.

The hope was that the new terminal would open in February 2019. Now, it will not be open until after next year's Jazz Fest.

The city of New Orleans and the New Orleans Aviation Board also announced an additional $35 million in funding for the terminal.
