Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation is suing the executive architect over the construction work done on homes in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina victims
The suit claims the group paid Louisiana-based architect John C. Williams over $4 million to create the blueprints and oversee construction.
Williams is being accused of defective work, as the designs exposed wood to rain and moisture, didn't include adequate waterproofing and didn't have roofs up to code.
Repairing the damages caused by the poor designs could cost the non-profit up to $20 million.
