It's National Hazing Prevention Week and one sorority at LSU is hosting a fundraiser in honor of Max Gruver and his family.
Gruver passed away in September 2017 as a result of a fraternity hazing ritual.
Alpha Delta Pi is hosting the Stop the Hazing "Fly High Max" basketball tournament on Wednesday to raise awareness about the anti-hazing foundation, and more than 150 chapters across the country are partnering with them.
The event is especially meaningful because Gruver's mother was a member of the Clemson University chapter of Alpha Delta Pi.
