Some Louisiana first responders are returning to the boot after helping North and South Carolina with Hurricane Florence recovery efforts.
Teams from Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Shreveport all were sent to assist in water rescues and logistics. While there are still some personnel stationed in the Carolinas, three teams have already returned home.
First responders say they established good relationships with other departments while they were there, which will help when Louisiana deals with its next big storm.
