A murder suspect sought by Jefferson Parish authorities is no longer on the run.
Authorities say 40-year-old Saleh Omar has been arrested in Miami after fleeing to Panama following the death of 29-year-old Mohamed Mezlini earlier this month.
Mezlini was found duct taped and beaten September 8th inside a vacant store off of Terry Parkway and died at the hospital.
Omar's brother, Yazan Omar, was arrested the day of the beating.
