An eleven-year-old boy who went missing for hours is safe after walking off from his school in Metairie yesterday morning.
The child, identified as Latrell Lewis, was found late yesterday afternoon walking near the intersection of West Esplanade and Williams Boulevard.
There's no confirmation about how or why the boy left the campus of John Q. Adams School. Investigators suspect Lewis was trying to get to his home in Kenner when he was found.
