The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting there are no heightened lead levels in school drinking water.

According to the department, water at 12 elementary schools across the state were tested as part of a pilot program. The tests were designed to determine if older schools built before 1986 had lead present in the drinking water.

Results from each location all met testing criteria.
