NOPD Says Canal Street Shooting Suspects Arrested

Two people sought on charges stemming from a shooting on Canal Street in New Orleans late last month that left two bystanders wounded are in custody. 

New Orleans Police say Byron Wilson, the suspected shooter, and his girlfriend, Derrion Robinson, were tracked to Franklin, Tennessee where they were arrested.

Both are charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, Robinson allegedly telling Wilson to open fire on a person they had been arguing with and who was fleeing on foot.
