Foul Play Ruled Out In Lake Pontchartrain Drowning Death

New Orleans police are ruling out foul play in the death of a Baton Rouge woman whose body was recovered in August from Lake Pontchartrain.

The Orleans Parish coroner confirmed Thursday that 32-year-old Sadie Thibodeaux died of asphyxia caused by drowning.

Authorities say she had been on a sailboat with Michael Lee Farley when both ended up in the water, the boat found abandoned on the lake two days later. Farley was found alive not long afterward.
