A teacher on the Westbank is accused of having inappropriate contact with a student.
Gretna police say Kim Minor, a social studies teacher and baseball coach at Thomas Jefferson High School, is facing a misdemeanor charge involving alleged sexual contact between an educator and a student.
Police would only say the student was a female and didn't release her age.
Minor has been placed on paid administrative leave while police continue to investigate.
